UA Fort Smith Drama Department

Theatre is back! Last year the Drama Department brought regional recognition to the University, and we are excited to add them to our 29th Season of Entertainment. Come see these unforgettable dramatic performances.

Awake and Sing! by Clifford Odets

The truly American story of one family holding itself together during the great depression. A riveting look at the indomitable human spirit and the lengths that we go to in protecting our family and our dreams.

October 29, 30, 31, November 7 - 7:30 pm and November 8 - 2:30 p.m.

Jake's Women by Neil Simon

Jake, a lonely writer, is watching his marriage slowly lose its luster as every woman in his life leaves him. Why don't the women behave like the ones in his books? A fun romp through the relationships we weave.

January 28, 29, & 30 - 7:30 pm and January 30, 2:30 pm

Tartuffe by Moliere

Before the Marx brothers, before the Three Stooges, slapstick was mastered by the French playwright, Moliere. This ridiculous and hilarious con-man play about a religious fake may be 200 years old, but the laughs never stop once the story is set in motion.

March 18, 19, 7:30 pm and March 20, 2:30 & 7:30 pm

All shows in Breedlove Auditorium
