Overview
Eager to continue learning? If you are at least 40 years old, enjoy stimulating conversation, and love to learn, UA Fort Smith’s Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) is for you! The LLI is specially designed for lifelong learners who want to keep up with what's going on in the world or who simply enjoy learning. We offer a wide choice of learning opportunities with welcoming peers in pleasant, comfortable, and informal class settings. Classes are held in the Echols Conference Center.Eligibility
There are no educational requirements to enroll. All persons forty years of age and older are welcome. You may take one, some, or all of the classes offered each semester. Classes have no tests, and no grades are given.Certificate
The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith does not grant Continuing Education units, or college credit for completion of LLI classes, but you may request a certificate of participation.Fee
One $50 registration fee per semester allows a participant to enroll in as many LLI classes as he or she chooses, or you can pay for the individual classes. Call to register now or mail the attached form!Free talks "Our World at a Glance"
