Learn a Language through the Center for Lifelong Learning
Learning another language opens your mind and gives you an understanding of other cultures. Whether your goal is to travel to another country, increase your understanding of another culture, or just expand your language, we have a class for you!American Sign Language (ASL)
ASL is the primary language of thousands of hearing-impaired Americans. Learning to communicate with the hearing-impaired is fun, and the skills you learn can also improve your communication skills in other aspects of your life at home or work. If you are employed in the fields of banking; customer service; sales; law enforcement; or a medical field, at some point you may need additional skills to communicate with your customers or clients. These courses will not certify students in Sign Language interpretation. For more information about ASL classes, click the above link.
