Culinary Arts (Ages 6-9)
Food brings people together of all ages. This summer Bridging Generations allows children and their parent/grandparent the opportunity to strengthen their bond by spending time in a live kitchen learning and participating in how to turn simple recipes into a tasty meal to share with their family. These meals will be cooked by participants on the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith campus in a fun and relaxed environment. Be sure to bring your aprons!Cost: $150 (includes child and adult; discount available for more than one child)

SIGNAmerican Sign Language (Ages 10-12)
Learn a beautiful language with a special person. Understand and learn sign language through fun and games, socializing, and teamwork! Have a basic vocabulary that will help you communicate one on one with a deaf person and a knowledge that you can build on for many years to come! Cost: $150 (includes child and adult; discount available for more than one child)

Beijing welcomes the world to China in August 2008. Join us as we learn to speak the Mandarin Chinese dialect, to write Chinese characters, about Chinese culture and its influence in the Summer 2008 Olympics (emblem, medals, Olympic mascots).
