Keeping the Student Activities Office informed of events and travel is important. Groups wishing to become Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) must also complete paperwork as well as groups wishing to renew their Recognized Student Organization status for the upcoming academic year.

By the Numbers

• 1 - Number of packets required for renewal of Recognized Organization status (RSO Renewal Packet)

• 4 - Number of forms required for travel (Student Travel Form, Travel Request Form, Waiver of Liability, Registration of Organization Event Form) Travel Request Forms are in triplicate and cannot be posted on the Web site

• 5 - Number of forms submitted on an as-needed basis only (Registration of Organization Event Form, Event Attendance Form, Open Project Form, RSO Reimbursement Form, Requisition Request Form)

• 5- Number of forms required to establish a new RSO (Advisor Agreement Form, Budget Proposal, Petition for Membership, Recognized Organization Application, Goal Form)

By the Dates

• September 15, 2008 - Deadline to have closed off campus checking accounts
• September 15, 2008 - Deadline to complete RSO Compliance On-line Training
• September 26, 2008 - Deadline to submit current Goal Form
• October 7, 2008 - Deadline to submit paperwork to start a new RSO in the fall
• March 3, 2008 - Deadline to submit paperwork to start a new RSO in the spring
• March 23 - April 17, 2008 - Deadline to submit RSO renewal compliance paperwork
