Oversized Books and Grants Collection

Oversized Books

Oversized books are books whose dimensions are too tall to fit in the ordinary book shelves. They include atlases, art books, and similar items.

Grants Collection

The Grants Collection is a special collection of directories of national and regional foundations, books on how to write grant proposals, and corporate philanthropy. The print collection is supplemented by the Foundation Directory Online for computerized grant searches and by a microfiche collection of tax returns for private foundations. The Foundation Center in New York provides the basic materials in the Grants Collection, and UA Fort Smith is fortunate to be among one of the libraries in Arkansas with this kind of collection.
