There are over 84,000 book and electronic volumes in the circulating book collection. These are books that you can check out of the library. Located on the first floor, the collection occupies shelves from Rows 1 - 14 and represents most of the subjects listed in the Dewey Decimal Classification system. Use the online catalog to locate books in the general book collection.

Books are shelved by their call numbers in a decimal order prescribed by the Dewey Decimal system. The Dewey Decimal Classification System is one of the major systems used for subject classification and materials on the similar topics.
