Applying as an Adult

At UA Fort Smith, "adult student" means anyone who didn’t just graduate from high school last spring. It also means someone who brings a valuable independence and life experience to the classroom. If that sounds like you, then you want UA Fort Smith.

Adult students make up a significant portion of our student body. We understand the sacrifices they make as they juggle the demands of work, home and school and have programs, schedules and services designed to help them meet those demands.

Our convenient day, evening, weekend and online courses let you study full-time or part-time on your time.

College Preview, our adult student workshop, will help you make the transition from work- and home-life back to school. It includes sessions on scheduling classes, funding your education, and brushing up on study skills.
