Important Information

• You must turn in a Request for Certification each semester.
• You will only be certified for courses on your signed degree plan on file with the VA Certifying Office.
• You may only work from one degree plan.
• Previous coursework is applied to your degree before certification is made.
• Courses that do not run the entire 16 weeks can affect the level of your benefits.
• If you withdraw from a course, it can affect your benefits.
• You are paid in arrears.
• You are responsible for payment of tuition on or before the deadline set by UA Fort Smith.
• If there are questions about your checks, you need to contact the Regional Office in Muskogee at (888)442-4551.
