What to Do Scholarship Search Sites International Students

Outside Scholarships

Outside scholarships are funded by sources other than UA Fort Smith, the State of Arkansas, or the federal government. They may be offered by national foundations, non-profit organizations, and local organizations.

Some scholarships require an essay to accompany the application. This is your chance to tell how you are different form the other applicants competing for the same scholarship. For tips on writing your essay, go to the Financial Aid Tips website.
