UA Fort Smith > Admissions > Financial AidHow Does the Program Work
How does it work?Supervisors who need to fill a student-worker position look through our applications and arrange interviews. Work-study IS NOT job placement, and everyone will not be hired. Students work a maximum of 15 hours per week, and the current rate is $6.25/hour. Student workers are paid bi-weekly. It is important to note that the work-study wages are paid as they are earned over the course of the semester. Funds are issued directly to the student, and are not applied to the student's account. | |||||
