One form of financial aid is a grant. Grants are funds given toward your Cost of Attendance that do not have to be paid back unless you are over-awarded according to federal guidelines, or you withdraw completely from school during the semester. Some grants are awarded according to financial need, some according to number of hours enrolled, and some according to the major in which you are enrolled. Some of these grants have very specific requirements and deadlines for application, so make sure you read all the information carefully.
