Meet The Staff
Dr. Kermit W. Kuehn, Director
Dr. Kuehn is the director of the FEC at UA Fort Smith and the
Family Enterprise Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship
in the College of Business. He joined the University in the fall
of 2006 after working 10 years in universities in the United
Arab Emirates and Oman. He worked with a number of small
companies in the UAE and Oman, and has written cases from
the region. Prior to his international experiences, he was a faculty
member at King’s College (Pennsylvania) and has also been a
practitioner in the field as a business consultant, director of
finance and vice president, and chief financial officer.
In addition to publications of both research findings and the writing of original case studies, Dr. Kuehn has consulted for small businesses and healthcare organizations and has lectured internationally.
