Benefits of General Membership

The Family Enterprise Center (FEC) is a learning community supporting the families and employees of the family enterprise. There are important reasons for you to join this growing community of businesses.

• Free access for up to five company representatives or guests to all FEC events.
• Increase your awareness of the issues facing family firms and how they can be addressed.
• Connect with other business families, employees, and supporters in a safe and supportive setting, where family business members share a learning environment with others in similar situations.
• Free subscription for the Family Issues newsletter, a quarterly publication of the FEC highlighting local family business news and information on upcoming Center events.
• Opportunity to participate in safe and confidential small-group settings where issues can be freely discussed with people in similar roles or positions in their respective companies.
• Single contact point for accessing College of Business and university resources.

Opportunities in Associate Membership

Area businesses that are not family-owned but provide services for family businesses have an opportunity to join the Family Enterprise Center (FEC) as Associate Members. This membership program offers many of the same opportunities as regular membership.

• Participate in all FEC events at no charge for admission for up to five company representatives or family business client-guests.
• Increase your awareness of the importance of family firms to our local community and the issues they face.
• Demonstrate your firm’s support of the family business community in the area.
• Opportunity to present topics of interest to family businesses during quarterly breakfast meetings and conferences.
• Receive subscription to Family Issues Newsletter, a quarterly publication highlighting news and upcoming events of the Center as well as other information of value to our members.
• Opportunity to support FEC programs financially through sponsorship of events. For their support, sponsoring organizations are recognized in print.

Cost of Membership

Regular and Associate Membership dues are $500 annually per organization. Membership is renewed on January 1 of each year, prorated by quarter.
