About the Center

The Family Enterprise Center (FEC) is a learning community created to meet the unique needs of the family in business. The FEC provides a forum where the generations of family members working in the business, non-family professional members, and family members not active in the business can all learn from one another in a positive and supportive environment.

The Center is an outreach of the UA Fort Smith College of Business and offers programs that both inform and support the region's family businesses. The FEC does this through its two annual one-day conferences, quarterly breakfasts and newsletters, as well as by facilitating peer groups and access to university and College of Business resources.

As our motto states, we're "a learning community supporting the families and employees of the family enterprise."
