UA Fort Smith offers an associate of applied science degree in respiratory care to students who have completed a traditional, on-campus, American Medical Association-approved program in respiratory care at another institution and require only course work in general education and basic sciences. In order to graduate with an associate of applied science degree, students are required to maintain at least a 2.0 GPA in all required course work.
