UA Fort Smith's administrative professional and office technology program is designed for those who are interested in preparing for new roles and expanded responsibilities in the office. The curriculum in the administrative professional and office technology program emphasizes high standards of proficiency in communication, technology, and information management. The administrative professional and office technology degree program will offer an associate of applied science, administrative assistant technical certificate and/or the office assistant certificate of proficiency. Students may select courses from three technical specialties: accounting assistant, human resource assistant, or medical office assistant.
