What is included in each apartment?

All Sebastian Commons apartments come fully furnished with a:

• Queen-size bed, desk, and dresser in every bedroom
• Leather couch and chair in the living room (furniture varies by layout)
• Table and chairs for the dining area
• Fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice-maker, and garbage disposal underneath the sink
• Intrusion alarm*

* Intrusion alarm is activated by paying a fee.

What bills do I need to pay?

Utilities are included in the lease payment. Phone bills must be paid by the residents. Included in "utilities" are high-speed wireless internet, expanded basic cable, electricity, water and sewer.

Is there a place to do laundry?

Sebastian Commons has a wonderful laundry area that is open for residents from 8 a.m. to midnight. Upon moving in, you will be given a coin card which you can load with funds in order to do laundry. The machine you use to deposit money onto your card is located in the Leasing Center. You can put money on your card during Leasing Center hours; it costs one dollar for a washing cycle and one dollar for a drying cycle. In addition to the laundry room, Phase II four bedroom apartments come with a washer/dryer in the unit.

Is there security?

Sebastian Commons is a gated community; this means that only residents will be able to get in with a clicker for the gate or a secret code for the walking gate. Residents are given the code upon moving in. Guests can call residents through the call box to enter the Commons. Sebastian Commons also has Resident Assistants and the University Police Department which handle security issues. The RA phone number is (479) 650-7924 and UPD is (479) 788-7140.

You may also choose to activate your intrusion alarm for a fee. Please contact the Leasing Center regarding activation of this alarm.

Is there a place to study at Sebastian Commons?

If you want a different atmosphere than your apartment, but don’t want to go to the library, the Leasing Center has a study room that is open until 10 p.m. for residents.

Is there a Fitness Center?

Yes! The Fitness Center is available free of charge to all residents of Sebastian Commons. It boasts both weight and cardio machines. Fitness Center hours are 8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m.
