Early Childhood Education Programs

Child Development Associate (CDA)

The Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is awarded to individuals who pass the CDA assessment by demonstrating their ability to meet the specific needs of children and work with parents and other adults to nurture children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth in a child development framework. Earning the CDA credential lets others know that the caregiver meets national and state standards required to teach in an early childhood setting.
