The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith, formerly known as Westark College, has a rich and historic basketball tradition. The legacy of Lion basketball includes two National Championships, 13 National Tournament appearances, eight 30+ win seasons, twelve All-Americans, four NBA players, and over 200 athletes who have earned basketball scholarships at four-year institutions.

14 Bi-State Conference Championships

From 1974 through 2006, the UA Fort Smith Lions have won 803 games - an average of 28 wins per season.
