The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college on campus. It offers degrees in specific major areas of study, as well as providing the General Education curriculum required in all degree programs at UA Fort Smith. The College of Arts and Sciences serves the central role of providing students with a breadth of knowledge across many disciplines, as well as providing in depth education for students in four-year degree programs.

Students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as a leader in society and the professions. Students also acquire higher order thinking skills that enable them to grow as individuals as well as members of our community.
