6th — Garden lovers will get an opportunity to expand their knowledge of all things green at the seventh annual Fall Landscape Clinic, which will take place in the Latture Conference Center in the Business and Industrial Institute building at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. The free half-day event begins with registration at 7:45 a.m. and includes a campus landscape tour, educational programs, door prizes and refreshments, concluding at 11:30 a.m. Educational programs to include: Landscape Plants for Arklahoma and U of A Fort Smith Secrets to Landscaping.

17th — Tree Management Workshop - Arkansas Urban Forestry Council, in partnership with the Arkansas Forestry Commission, will hold a Tree Management Workshop at the First Electric Cooperative Corporation office in Jacksonville, AR from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
