The Xtreme Arts Kidfest is a back to school bash sponsored by the UA Fort Smith Academy of the Arts. This free event takes place on Saturday, August 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Reynolds Room of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center. Children and parents are invited to come and enjoy the carnival-like atmosphere, and learn what the UA Fort Smith Academy of the Arts has to offer.

The day will be filled with games, performances by theatre, dance, show choir students and the Boogie Woogie Bearz, exhibits by art students, faculty performances, crafts, and fall registration information. Academy faculty and directors will be on hand to meet students and parents and talk with them about upcoming programs. People will be able to come and go as they please.
