Welcome to the UA Fort Smith Academy of the Arts!
We are excited that you have decided to pursue your
artistic talents with our qualified and dedicated
faculty. Here at the Academy, we are very proud of
our relationship with the
music and theatre programs at UA Fort
Smith. We are so fortunate to have the wonderful
resources available on campus, including faculty and
spaces to provide the optimal artistic experience for
our students.
It is our hope that we develop programs and
opportunities of interest for individuals, from the amateur to the highly gifted, and all those in between. Our faculty work
very hard to provide the best experience for the needs of all students.
The Academy seeks to be one of the primary
community resources and outreach programs of UA
Fort Smith's
music and theatre departments. As we grow each
year, we plan to expand our offerings in places and
programs that reach an ever widening audience. Through our partnership with the
Young Actors Guild, we continue to offer acting classes for grades 3 - 12, small theatre productions by the YAG Players, and large full-scale theatre productions which are presented on the Academy
ShowTime Series. Through this partnership, the Academy is pleased to offer acting classes, as well as large and small theatre productions.
