UA Fort Smith provides quality education to meet the variety of educational needs of individuals within its communities. UA Fort Smith provides bachelor’s and associate degrees in academic, career, and occupational programs. Courses are offered year-round in the day, evenings, and through alternative delivery options, such as weekend and Internet classes. Students may enroll full time or part time. College of Applied Science and Technology
Bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees, technical certificates, and certificates of proficiency in technical and occupational programs are offered through the College of Applied Science and Technology. In addition, the
Center for Business and Professional Development offers an associate degree, technical certificate, and certificate of proficiency in workforce leadership, as well as providing customized contract training for business and industry.

College of Education
The College of Education is committed to excellence in teacher preparation through a combination of classroom instruction and field service experiences with partner school districts. Within the College of Education, candidates can earn bachelor’s degrees and associate degrees in early childhood education and middle level education. Also, certificate programs are provided for persons working in nursery schools. Students majoring in secondary education complete their degrees in the College of Arts and Sciences with the teacher licensure portion in the College of Education under the guidance of the Coordinator of Secondary Education and the Teacher Licensure Officer.

College of Health Sciences
The College of Health Sciences provides bachelor of science degrees in nursing and imaging sciences. Associate degrees are offered in dental hygiene, nursing, radiography and surgical technology. A technical certificate is offered in practical nursing.

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences provides bachelor’s degrees in history, history/historical interpretation, history with social studies teacher licensure, music, music education (vocal or instrumental), criminal justice, graphic design, and psychology.
